Influencer: Big Men Edition - Lobo [NSFW]

In the world of adult entertainment, few stars shine as brightly as Lobo. Known for his authentic content and unapologetic embrace of the bisexual scene, Lobo has carved out a unique space in the industry. We got the chance to interview with the multi-talented performer to discuss everything from his journey into the adult film world to the challenges of being a bisexual content creator and his personal philosophy on life.

With candid reflections on his Latine heritage, his thoughts on BIPOC representation in porn, and the realities of filming, Lobo gives us an intimate look into his life both on and off camera. Whether you're curious about his creative process, his thoughts on industry professionalism, or his love of Dungeons and Dragons, this interview is packed with insights that will leave you inspired and eager for more.

What initially drew me to the Industry was a desire for financial and personal freedom. I wanted to be my own boss and didn't want to be beholden to anyone anymore. I also wanted to travel and meet new people and through this work, I've been able to do that which has been amazing.

Honestly, I don't remember. I've been Lobo, or variations therein such as Daddy Lobo or Lobobear, for as long as I can remember. I'm bilingual and also have an affinity for werewolves so choosing Lobo wasn't too hard.

It wasn't particularly difficult to establish myself as a bi performer, I think the struggle is keeping up with it. There are factors that make it difficult to keep me from producing hetero content as frequently as I would like, plus it's very hard to find other bi men to film MMF content with. I'd love to do more bi porn, even at the professional level.

I think it welcomed my Latine heritage, however I do believe there is still some work to do where POC performers are concerned. BIPOC creators don't get nearly the same amount of attention as their light skinned colleagues, plus not even to mention if they're of a certain body type.

I actually haven't landed a role yet. But hopefully that changes soon!

Mentally I'm pretty good with getting into the mindset of filming. It's work I enjoy so it's not hard to be excited to film. Physically, I workout a lot to stay in shape for camera and I stay hydrated so I can get it up easily. I don't inject or take pills because I find they don't work for me very well. It's super rare an injection works but I don't want to become dependent on it if I can help it.

I don't really have inspirations or influences, I just kind of do my own thing. I have folks I respect, but I don't really idolize anyone.

Oh I have so many I want to work with. Quite a few in Spain haha.

Oh of course! Lots of things happen off camera or that are edited out. Happens all the time, but that's real life! Porn is a fantasy, we must never forget that.

My ideal scene would be an MMF threesome where everyone gets a load and we all lie there all sweaty and satisfied. And to be honest, it's kind of already happened haha. That scene is coming soon haha.

Advice I'd give to folks just entering the industry is make sure you take it at least a little bit seriously. Professionalism will get you far in this business. Making sure you have your testing up to date and making sure you understand paperwork and what you need to keep yourself safe on all fronts, especially from a legal standpoint.

In terms of new projects, it's mostly just continuing to film when I can. Trying to keep up with that. I'm working on a new logo and a website so that'll be exciting to present when it's done.

I try to stand out by being authentic with my content. Nothing fancy, just real people and real intimacy. I also am one of the very few who does hetero and bisexual content in the "gay content sphere" so I feel like that sets me apart from most other gay content creators.

It was the standard at the time. I personally believe it to be the standard. This isn't an easy job and doing all this takes money that I don't think our viewers quite understand. Travel costs, filming costs, rentals of spaces and equipment, especially in order to get things posted consistently, this can be a full time job for some.

I do my best to post consistently. At least one post per day if I can help it. It can be difficult when I've got a million other things going on in my life but I do what I can to keep folks entertained. I try and do daily postings on my Twitter page as well.

If it's in my schedule, it's getting done. That's really how I do it. I just make sure to plan accordingly. I treat it like a work shift. Just a much sexier one.

I mostly just film on phones because the quality is so good nowadays and it's so much easier to transfer video files to my computer which I then edit together.

The most rewarding thing for me is hearing when people genuinely enjoy my content. It really makes it worthwhile to know folks are getting off to my scenes.

My coming out isn't super special. I first came out as bisexual in high school and it wasn't too bad. I had a girlfriend at the time so I presented hetero so it was pretty chill overall. After she and I broke up, my parents would ask me why we split and ultimately I had to tell them it was because I was bi and was attracted to men. I didn't tell them I was also nonmonogamous, I don't think they would've been able to wrap their head around that so well haha. But ultimately I just sat them down and came out. I was met with love and acceptance which I'm privileged to say. Took my mom a bit to really acknowledge my now partner of almost 10 years but she got there eventually.

My favourite nerdy thing to do? I have so many haha. I love the gym, I play Dungeons and Dragons every other week, I love comics, especially superhero comics, I've been getting back in to anime recently which has been awesome, I love science stuff and learning about space, I fucking love dinosaurs, I can't really say I have a favourite. Playing music and video games and hitting the gym are probably the top 3 though if I had to choose.

That's a good question. I honestly don't know. I like to think I'm an authentic person that whatever people think and assume is quickly debunked just by looking at my socials haha. I don't really have a "character" when it comes to how I market myself, I like to think I'm quite authentic. Not that having a character is a bad thing, I know for some it can help to separate work from real life, but I guess I just never got to that point haha.

Some pet peeves? I suppose the basic stuff. Disrespect and bigotry are pretty big.

Biggest compliment I think was when I've had fans realize their own bisexuality because of my openness about being bisexual. Bi men often struggle with their identity so to have someone be comfortable enough to effectively come out to me, means a lot to me.

Something new I learned is that I have more to talk about in therapy than I thought I did. Therapy has been great to mostly just check in and see how things are going in the ole noggin. It's important to exercise your mental health as much as you do your physical health.

My ideal perfect day I think would be very simple. A killer workout, a boozy drag brunch with friends on a beautiful outdoor patio in the warm summer sun, a super hot bisexual orgy and some nice cuddle time with my partners. You know, the simple things in life.
